Celebrating over 25 years in practice in the local community, Mark Davis the Optician has built the practice on customer satisfaction. This is a small, independent, family run business and we are proud of it. We are proud to maintain our independence because we believe it is best for our patients A full range of services are offered, these being carried out in a friendly, professional and conscientious manner. Private/NHS eye examinations can be carried out on the premises or we can visit you at home.

'For us it's not just about giving you a prescription and off you go,' said Mark, 'it's about working with the patient, and finding out what is needed.' There is such a wide range of high quality lenses and frames to choose from, and it’s important to ensure the finished spectacles are the best that they can be.

An independent optician, Mark and his fully trained staff will spend as long as necessary until their patients are completely satisfied. 'We work very hard to get it right,' Mark said. To ensure this all frames and lenses are from well known manufacturers and we use modern equipment in the sight test itself. Home visits are available for the housebound.

We are proud of how hard we work to maintain our standards. Sight tests, for example, last half an hour, and usually take up the whole appointment. 'It is important that people are treated as individuals, so we make sure that sufficient time is spent, without rushing..

'We aim for a relaxed, environment, and we always want to be approachable. Our idea is to supply something that's different, a friendly atmosphere with loads of advice and help if you want, we will do our utmost to sort out what you require.
