Celebrating 25 years trading in the local community in Spondon, Mark Davis Opticians have built their practice on making sure the customer gets exactly what they want.
‘For us it’s not just about giving you a prescription and off you go,’ said Mark, ‘it’s about working out what’s right for you, the customer, and what you need.’ There is a wide-range of high-quality frames and lenses to choose from.
A family-run business, Mark and his fully qualified staff will spend as long as necessary until their customers are completely satisfied. ‘We work very hard to get it right,’ Mark said. To ensure this all frames and lenses are from well-known manufacturers and Mark uses modern equipment in the sight test itself. Home visits are available for the housebound.
‘We’re not cheap and cheerful, but then neither is our service,’ said Mark, who views this service as personal, unique to each customer. He is proud of how hard they work to maintain their standards. Sight tests, for example, last half an hour, and usually take up the whole appointment. ‘I like to get to know my patients,’ he said.
‘And we do try and maintain a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Hopefully it’s an enjoyable place to visit!’ Mark laughed. Still having fun after 25 years in business, it looks like Mark and his dedicated staff are doing everything right.
